End of Sale Announcement - MX65

Cisco Meraki is announcing the end-of-sale for the following products, in accordance with our End-of-Sale (EOS) Policy for Meraki cloud managed networking products. The MX65 and MX65W have been replaced with the following products, which are functionally equivalent:

They expect to be accepting final orders for this product through May 28, 2019. Cisco Meraki Customer Advisories

It’s often the case that Cisco Meraki only need to inform because they've already patched systems before a vulnerability becomes common knowledge. This was the case with several ransomware attacks seen earlier this year.

Thanks to the integration of Cisco Talos intelligence into the Meraki MX, customers with the Advanced Security license are proactively protected against malicious actors through world-class intrusion and malware detection. In other cases, like the recently uncovered KRACK Wi-Fi vulnerability, firmware which addressed the issue was prepared ahead of public disclosure, meaning we merely needed to inform customers and prompt them to upgrade, where necessary.

Whether to require action, or simply to inform, Cisco Meraki want to ensure they are communicating as transparently as possible in a way that is easy to keep track of.

To this end, they have introduced the new Cisco Meraki Customer Advisories page. This page will act as a chronological repository of issues that have the potential to impact Meraki customers, regardless of whether it’s an industry-wide issue or one relating to Meraki technology.

End of Sale Announcement- MX400 and MX600

Cisco Meraki is announcing the end-of-sale for the following products.

The MX400 and MX600 Cloud Managed Security Appliances have been replaced with the following products, which are functionally equivalent:

Additionally, the interface modules specifically designed for the MX400 and MX600 models will also be going end of sale. The IM-8-CU-1GB, IM-8-SFP-1GB, and the IM-2-SFP-10GB will all be going end-of sale May 20, 2018.

Meraki expect to be accepting final orders for this product through May 20, 2018. However, the final date will depend on the availability of stock and, at Cisco Meraki's discretion, the actual end-of-sale date may be earlier than May 20, 2018 . End-of-Support date for this product will be May 20, 2025.
